Joanna Hersh, DVM

Dr. Hersh was born and raised in Long Island, NY.  She graduated from the University of Delaware in 2005 with a degree in Animal Science and concentration in Pre-Veterinary Medicine.  She attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical training at Cornell University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2010.  She practiced for four years in Nazareth and then a year in Montgomery County before joining Lehigh Valley Animal Hospital in July 2015.  She has a special interest in Internal Medicine and client education. 

When she’s not at the hospital, Dr. Hersh spends as much time as possible with her husband and their “fur-kids”, Cami (a Collie/Retriever mix), Kiwi and Mango (kitties that she rescued from a fruit market in St. Kitts).  She also enjoys running, hiking and kayaking.

Dr. Hersh currently practices exclusively at our Allentown office.
