Barbara Gregory, VMD

I am Dr. Barbara Gregory, co-owner of LVAH and one of the six veterinarians in our practice. I have always felt a strong compassion and kinship to animals, so it seemed natural to pursue a vocation that followed my heart. I involved myself in animal care at a young age through the 4H club, working on horse and sheep farms and working at local veterinary hospitals. I later graduated from Delaware Valley College and the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine.

After working as an associate at Lehigh Valley Animal Hospital for nine years, I became co-owner of the practice in 1997. I am currently a member of the Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association, the American Veterinary Association, and the Lehigh Valley Veterinary Medical Association.

LVAH is a client oriented practice that emphasizes compassionate pet care, preventative medicine and client education. Our practice includes two local offices with most of my time spent working at the Allentown office. I practice preventative health care, internal medicine, and surgery, including orthopedics. I have a strong commitment to my clients and a sincere desire to share in the well-being of their companion animals.

When not working, I enjoy the outdoors, nature and staying active.  My recreational interests include participation in regional activities and charity events; 5Ks, Century bike rides, and Relay for Life.  I enjoy running, skiing, hiking, camping, backpacking and time at the beach with friends and family.  All of those activities were far more enjoyable when shared with my favorite companion, Sierra, my Bernese Mountain Dog. She now watches over me and all the ill pets at our office as our Guardian Angel.

Dr. Gregory Practices currently practices primarily at our Allentown office. She visits our Bethlehem practice on Thursdays and select Saturdays.
